Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has held the second strategic coordination meeting with the heads of Qatar's charitable and development institutions working in the field of foreign aid and development at the headquarters of QFFD in Doha.
QFFD said the meeting was held with the aim of promoting the mechanisms of strategic coordination between these institutions and agreeing on the joint charter between them.
The meeting was attended by heads of Qatar Charity, Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF), Education Above All Foundation (EAA), Silatech, Qatar Red Crescent (QRCS), Reach Out to Asia Foundation (ROTA), Sheikh Eid Charity Foundation, Jasim and Hamad bin Jassim charity Foundation, Afif Foundation, and Al Faisal without borders Foundation.
The main focus of the meeting was setting the goals and mechanisms of strategic coordination group that works in the framework of the general policy of Qatar in the field of foreign aid and supporting education, health and economic development sectors.
QFFD Director General Khalifa bin Jassim Al Kuwari stressed that the fund depends on the coordination meetings with Qatar's institutions working in the field of foreign aid, pointing out the importance of promoting strategic coordination and exchanging knowledge in the field of the international development among Qatari partners to ensure the effectiveness of aid.
